Reporting faults in street lighting

Have you discovered a fault with a street lamp or traffic light? Then please report your observation to us using the contact details provided.

Description

If you notice a fault or technical defect in a street lamp or traffic light, you can report this via the "Bei Anruf Licht!" service telephone, by e-mail or online via machmuenchenbesser.de.

When reporting, please always state the exact location of the fault and the pole number of the street lamp or traffic light. The pole number can be found on the pole of the streetlight or traffic light. It is very helpful to provide a street name with house number or the names of the intersecting streets.

General questions about street lighting and traffic lights can be answered by the Civil Engineering Department, Street Lighting and Traffic Control Technology Division.

Registrations will only be accepted by telephone or online form.

By reporting a faulty street lamp or traffic light, you can take part in the "Bei Anruf Licht!" prize draw.
As a thank you for your commitment, the building department raffles off cash prizes and non-cash prizes every year.
