Access to building files (central registry)

If you own a property in the Munich city area, you can view the approved building plans for your house and copy them at coin-operated photocopiers on site.

Access to files by appointment only

Required documents

  • Proof of property ownership (extract from the land register)
  • Identification by official document (identity card, passport, etc.)
  • For data protection reasons, other persons require a power of attorney to inspect the files.
  • Application form for file inspection (can also be completed on site)
  • Proof of study for inspection of files for study purposes

  • 10 Euro per property
  • Inspection of files for study purposes 2 euros (minimum fee 10 euros) per property
