The courses at the Municipal School of Imagination offer a creative afternoon programme for primary school children and children with special needs.

Description of the course

The Schule der Phantasie offers creative courses and projects for primary and special school children up to 4th grade. Registration is possible via the online form or on the day of school enrolment if the school offers courses.

Prerequisites

Your child must attend a public primary school or special school (1st to 4th grade) in Munich.

Please use our online form to register . You can also apply for a fee reduction or fee exemption.

Please also use our online form to cancel your registration . You can only cancel your registration up to and including the day before the course starts. Please send us the cancellation form no later than one day before the start of the course.

Please note that registration/cancellation is only possible by a parent or legal guardian or an authorised representative.

Duration and costs

Fees and charges

The fee for an annual course is 140 euros. There is a sibling discount for children who are on a course at the Schule der Phantasie, provided that the same payer is named for each child. The reduction is 20 per cent according to the age of the children for the second child and 50 per cent from the third child onwards.

Questions & Answers

The Municipal School of Imagination encourages your child's free and spontaneous creativity. Children are encouraged to express themselves artistically in various ways. The aim is to promote your child's creativity, self-confidence in their own solutions and overall personality.

The courses are led by instructors from various creative professions and freelance artists.

The courses take place once a week from October to July in public primary schools. They last 90 minutes. There are no courses on holidays or during school holidays.

You must re-enrol your child every school year. Please use the corresponding online form

The Schule der Phantasie organises the courses in July. If you enrol your child later, your child will be placed on the waiting list and will have the opportunity to join the course.

You can only cancel your child's enrolment up to and including the day before the course starts. Please only use our online form for this purpose. Please send us the completed online cancellation form no later than one day before the start of the course
