Paternity survey for maintenance payments

If you want to apply for an advance on maintenance payments, the father must be legally established by a deed or a judgement.

Description

It is important to know who the father is in any case in order to receive an advance on maintenance payments. In principle, the advance should only be paid temporarily. The dependent father should pay the maintenance himself. If this is not possible immediately, the maintenance advance office must attempt to reclaim the benefits paid from tax revenue from the father.

It is also important for the mother and her child to have the identity of the father established in a legally binding manner. Without this establishment of paternity, the child is not entitled to maintenance.
