Investment support for outpatient care services
As an outpatient care service, you can receive investment support in accordance with the guidelines and the budget funds available.
Course description
Purpose and amount of funding
The investment promotion programme is intended to help ensure that Munich has a needs-based and efficient care infrastructure and that outpatient care facilities are supported. The Social Welfare Committee of the City of Munich provides annual budget funds for this funding programme.
Object of the funding programme
Eligible for funding are operationally necessary investment expenses, such as for office equipment, care cases, work clothing, company vehicles and rental or lease costs. The expenditure incurred must be clearly attributable to the operation of the care service. Section 82 (2) numbers 1 and 3 SGB XI regulates which investments are considered necessary for operations. The maximum amounts up to which the City of Munich recognises investments can be found in the list of maximum amounts.

Prerequisites
Care services that provide care to Munich residents within the framework of SGB XI (Social Code Book Eleventh) and have a care contract in accordance with § 72 SGB XI can apply for funding.
Please note: From the funding year 2026, the processing of applications by the specialist department in the Social Department will change. In order to avoid rejection of the application, the application and Annexes 1 A, 1 B and 2 must be submitted by post by
31. March 2026 at the latest by post
received by the City of Munich by March 2026 at the latest.
Only documented and registered investments (Annex 2 of the application) will be processed and Annex 3 must be completed in full and submitted by 31 July 2026.
