Drilling indicator well - heat pump/ cooling system up to 50kW

Drilling for the construction of extraction and absorption wells for groundwater heat pumps or cooling systems must be notified in good time before drilling work begins.

Description of the course

Drillings that are limited exclusively to quaternary gravel layers and are located outside of water protection areas can be started after one month has elapsed.the period begins with the receipt of the complete notification documents .the prerequisite is that the responsible authority does not prohibit the work within this month.

Drillings that go several metres into the deeper tertiary layers(clay, silt, sand) require a permit under water law in addition to the drilling notification.

A separate permit under water law is required for the operation of the groundwater heat pump or cooling system.

Required documents

The documents should preferably be submitted digitally.

  • General site plan M 1:25,000 with marking of the location
