Description
The Munich Christmas market takes place every year in the run-up to Christmas. Around 3 million people visit this Christmas market on Marienplatz every year. With around 180 market traders and an area of 25,000 square metres, the Christkindlmarkt in Munich is one of the largest Christmas markets in Europe.
Would you like to be a market participant at the Munich Christmas Market?
The organiser is particularly interested in the following applications:
- traditional Christmas goods and stall decorations that reflect the old Bavarian, Alpine character of the Munich Christmas Market
- Traders with demonstrations at the stand
- Artisans
- bavarian specialities (also in organic quality)
Experience has shown that the number of applications will exceed the available sales areas/facilities, so unfortunately we cannot consider all applicants. Please understand that we can only make the selection after the application deadline. We will of course inform you of our decision in writing as soon as possible.
Required documents
Written application with information on the following points:
- Personal details (address, telephone, e-mail, homepage, etc.)
- Concept, presentation, description of the goods or services
- References, experience, activities in the travel industry
- Type and size of the business
- Desired sales area or desired urban stand
- Image material or sketch of the stand / design / product range
- Technical data (electricity, water supply, etc.)
The closing date for applications for the Christmas Market is 31 December each year for the following year(date of postmark). The application deadline is a cut-off deadline. Receipt of the application will not be confirmed.
Applications do not constitute a legal entitlement to admission or a specific place. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Please only enclose documents with your application that can remain with us. Application documents (photos, copies, folders, etc.) will not be returned. Franked envelopes, envelopes and stamps are not required for the application.
