Burial of foetuses and stillborn children

At the Waldfriedhof cemetery, parents of stillborn children and foetuses have the opportunity to have their children buried in a communal area.

Course description

At the Waldfriedhof cemetery, parents of stillborn children and foetuses have the option of having their children buried in a communal area.

Foetus area:In the foetus area ("circle"), the planting of the grave can be individually arranged with the nursery commissioned by the Munich Municipal Cemeteries. If desired, the name of the deceased child can be engraved on the stele in the centre. Grave decorations and flowers can be placed at the stele as a memorial.

Arrangement for stillborn children:This spiral-shaped arrangement is laid out and maintained by a cemetery nursery on behalf of the Munich municipal cemeteries. River pebbles are available from the local cemetery administration, which can be individually inscribed as a memorial stone for the deceased child.
