Building permit

As a rule, you need a building permit from the lower building supervisory authority for construction measures such as new builds, extensions or conversions as well as for changes of use.

Description

In Munich, the Lower Building Supervisory Authority is part of the Local Building Commission (LBK).

Before submitting a building application, you can obtain information on your questions at the LBK advice centre.

The prerequisite for a legally secure approval notice is a building application with complete documentation.
