Access control voucher - Oktoberfest and Oide Wiesn

If you require an access permit for the Oktoberfest grounds and the Oide Wiesn, you can apply for an entry authorisation.

Description

The City of Munich issues different entry authorisations for the Oktoberfest and the Oide Wiesn. These can be applied for online. It will be possible to apply for access control vouchers from 29 July 2024.

  • You can obtain a set-up and dismantling permit for the festival grounds from the Department of Labour and Economic Affairs at the Wiesn, Matthias-Pschorr-Straße 4, 80339 Munich. Contact: Telephone 089/233-82816 or 089/233-82815 or send an e-mail to veranstaltungen.raw@muenchen.de.
  • Suppliers or vendors who need to enter the festival grounds during the Oktoberfest will receive an entry ticket for their vehicle at the KVR Wiesn Office (Service Centre on the Theresienwiese). This is only valid during the Oktoberfest and will only be issued for the vehicle you have specified (vehicle-related).
    In addition, an access control receipt is required for each passenger in the vehicle. This can also be requested from us (online only).

Access authorisations will be issued during the following opening hours and at the following locations:

  • Access control vouchers
    • 26. August to 13 September
      during general opening hours at the KVR, Ruppertstraße 11, 3rd floor, room 34.105 (entrance to the registry office)
    • 16. September until 18 September
      daily from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m
      19. September and 20 September
      daily from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m

      Near the service centre at Theresienwiese at the bus loop in the Securitas container (Car entry permits can be applied for as usual at the KVR-Wiesnbüro in the service centre at Theresienwiese, daily from 8.30 am to 12 noon and from 1.30 pm to 4 pm.)
  • Access control vouchers and entry tickets
    21. September to 6 October daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Service Centre on the Theresienwiese

Residents, employees and traders on the Sperrring must apply for an access permit for the Sperrring.

Required documents

the following documents must be uploaded online for the access control document (each individual person):

  • Signed information on the police background check (available for download)
  • Passport or identity card
  • electronic residence permit, if applicable

You do not need to upload any documents online for the entry permit. You will receive this after completing a form on site and presenting proof of identity from 21.09.2024 at the Wiesnbüro (service centre on the Theresienwiese).

Processing time

The vehicle-related entry permits for feeders and suppliers can usually be taken away immediately.

The processing of access control documents usually takes ten days. Collection is possible without further request by the KVR ten days after application, but from 26 August 2024 at the earliest. It is not necessary to make an appointment for collection. Please bring your identity card or passport with you to collect the permit. It is not possible to hand over the access control document to third parties.

Vehicle-related entry permit to the festival site:

  • until 9 a.m. (yellow, day licence/bike licence): 10 euros
  • until 9 a.m. (green): 50 euros
  • until 9 a.m. (red) (only for perishable goods, beer): 80 euros

Payment methods available

Questions & Answers

all persons (vehicle occupants) aged 16 and over require a personalised access control document (ZKB) in addition to the entry ticket for feeders and suppliers (see above). You can apply for this online.
Persons who need to enter the festival grounds and have a corresponding permit (ZKB) do not require an additional entry permit for the restricted access ring.

Please note that since 2023, access control documents (ZKB) can no longer be sent out, but must be collected in person at the above-mentioned locations and during the respective opening hours. Please bring your proof of identity (identity card or passport and residence permit if applicable) with you when you collect it. It is not possible to hand over the ZKB without presenting proof of identity or to issue it to a third party.

Collection is possible without further request by the KVR ten days after the application, but from 26 August 2024 at the earliest. It is not necessary to make an appointment for collection.
