Greening support programme
The city grants a financial subsidy to owners who green their front garden, courtyard, roof or façade or unseal an area.
Description
The City of Munich grants subsidies to owners for the greening of courtyards, front gardens, roofs and façades as well as for the near-natural greening of company premises.
Anyone who designs the asphalted courtyard on their private property with new, water-permeable surfaces or greening the area can also apply for a grant from the City of Munich.
The exact amount of the grant depends on the size and type of greening or unsealing. You can find more detailed information in the table "Overview of funding criteria and funding rates" in the guidelines.
Get in touch with us before you start building.
Prerequisites
You can apply for funding for greening if the greening is a voluntary measure, the property comprises at least four residential units or it is a commercial property.
