Registration at the vocational school

You can register yourself or your trainees at the vocational school.

Description of the course

As a rule, the training company registers its trainees at the vocational school. In individual cases, trainees may have to enrol themselves. If you are unsure as a trainee, please contact your training company.

If you do not wish to register online, you can also do so in writing. You can download a registration form from the websites of most vocational schools.

Please make sure that the location of your training company belongs to the respective school district: The vocational school must be locally responsible for the respective training occupation. You can find out which school is locally responsible at any public vocational school.

Prerequisites

You need a signed training contract. It must be signed by the training company and the trainee. If you are a trainee under the age of 18, your legal guardian (e.g. parents) must also sign.

The documents you need depend on the vocational school in question.

As a rule, you will need the following documents:

  • confirmed training contract
  • the last school report
