Waiting period information from the statutory pension insurance scheme

For your naturalisation or settlement permit, you can apply for proof of months of contributions to the statutory pension insurance scheme.

Description of the course

For naturalisation or a settlement permit (e.g. a permanent residence certificate or permanent residence card), you will need proof of the periods during which you have paid contributions to the statutory pension insurance scheme.

You can apply for the so-called waiting period information using our contact form. Due to the transmission of personal/confidential information, please note points 13 and 14 of the information on electronic communication with the Munich City Administration

You or an authorised person cannot collect the waiting period information in person from the insurance office.

Duration and costs

Processing time

The waiting period information is sent by post by the pension provider directly to the applicant's home address on file with Deutsche Rentenversicherung. We have no influence on the processing time at the pension provider or the delivery time.
