Temporary ban on stopping for removals and construction sites

If you temporarily need a free access zone, for example for removals or building site deliveries, you can apply for a temporary stopping ban.

Description

Please note:Traffic signs are not valid without written authorisation and may not be erected. As soon as you have received authorisation, you must procure and erect the no-stopping signs yourself and remove them again after the appointment.

The no stopping signs must be erected no later than the fourth day before the planned date of validity. When you erect the no-stopping signs, you must make a note of the licence plate numbers and other characteristics of the vehicles parked there at that time. To do this, please fill in the pre-notification list (download).

The online procedure has upper limits for the duration that can be applied for. If you need the parking ban for removals for longer than three calendar days, you must apply for the parking ban by post, fax or e-mail.

Tips for removals:Check whether you can keep the approach zone clear yourself by parking your own vehicle there and "reserving" the space until the removal van arrives.

  • The maximum possible duration is
