Taking on voluntary care

If you want to support people with support needs, you can take on a legal guardianship.

Description

Are you not afraid of dealing with the authorities and do you enjoy helping people with support needs? Then taking on a legal guardianship offers you a challenging and varied opportunity to get involved. Volunteer carers receive an introduction, advice, further training and opportunities for exchange from the Munich carers' associations. An annual expense allowance of 399 euros can be claimed via the local court / guardianship court (alternatively, an expense allowance can be claimed if proof of the actual costs incurred is provided).

Prerequisites

Contact the Munich carers' associations if

  • You have been appointed as a voluntary legal representative (carer),
  • You would like to find out about the legal basis of legal guardianship,
  • You are considering taking on legal guardianship on a voluntary basis or
  • You are a carer looking for further training and an opportunity to exchange ideas.
