Course description

There are professional recognition procedures for some professions in Germany, e.g. for medical or educational professions.

Have you already applied for professional recognition in one of these professions and now need a qualification for full recognition? Then please get in touch with us.

For most other professions there are no professional recognition procedures. Do you therefore need a qualification in order to get a suitable job? Then we will gladly support you as well.

Our offer

We offer advise on all options for a suitable qualification and guide you through the entire procedure. Our aim for you is to be fully recognised in your profession, so that you can find a job that matches your qualifications.

• advise on all options for your qualification
• provide support in dealing with authorities, educational institutions and practice partners

• offer guidance to language courses and job application training
• provide free and professional assistance

We advise you in person and by phone, email or video call.

Prerequisites

• Professional qualification from another country (studies or vocational training)
• Place of residence or employer in Munich or in the districts of Munich, Ebersberg, Erding, Freising, Dachau, Fürstenfeldbruck and Starnberg
• If aprofessional recognition procedures exists for your profession:
• You have applied for recognition and have already received the result.
• For professions without professional recognition procedures:
• A qualification is still required so that you can find suitable work.

• Professional diplomas, references and certificates
• Result of your application for professional recognition (if available)

The "Qualification Support Service" project of the Regional Integration Network for International Workers "IQ MUC" is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Union via the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) as part of the IQ - Integration through Qualification funding programme and administered by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. Partners in the implementation are the Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the Federal Employment Agency.IQ MUC is coordinated by the Service Centre for the Development of Foreign Qualifications in the Social Department of the City of Munich.
