Questions & Answers

The licence plate is reserved for one year, there is no fee.

When your vehicle is deregistered, you cannot reserve a licence plate for a subsequent vehicle due to a lack of legal basis. You have the option of reserving your desired licence plate on the Internet on the day after the vehicle is taken out of service.

The reservation of a licence plate is non-binding. It is expressly pointed out that the reservation of a licence plate does not give rise to any legal entitlement and claims for compensation are excluded.
