Residence permit – Search for a vocational training place

You want to complete qualified vocational training in Munich? Then you can obtain a residence permit for the search for a training place.

Description

With the visa or the residence permit to search for a training place, you can stay in Germany for up to six months in order to apply for a training place on site. During this time you are not allowed to pursue gainful employment.

Visa
Before entering Germany, you must apply for a visa at the competent German mission abroad. Citizens of Australia, Israel, Japan, Canada, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, the USA or the United Kingdom can also enter Germany without a visa and apply for a residence permit before starting their search.

After entry
