Description

When you applied for a residence permit for study, a language course or training, you deposited a blocked account as proof that you have sufficient funds to cover your living expenses. You can use the online form to close your blocked account and dispose of the money.

Prerequisites

  • You have already left the country or your departure is imminent
  • Your purpose of residence has changed (e.g. residence permit for the purpose of employment or for family reasons)
  • You can prove that you are able to support yourself in another way (e.g. declaration of commitment)
  • You have registered in another municipality/city in Germany.
