Further training for day carers
If you work as a childminder, you must provide evidence of 20 teaching units of further training per year. Further training is also possible.
Description
The Munich Youth Welfare Office and its co-operation partners offer specialist training courses. These training courses are aimed at qualified childminders who provide day care in their own home or in large-scale day care centres.
Day carers who are already working have the opportunity to attend further training. The City Youth Welfare Office offers an in-service qualification programme. Upon successful completion, the certificate "Qualified child day carer according to the competence-oriented qualification manual 150 teaching units during the course of the activity" can be obtained.
The in-service qualification is recognised as further training in the period in which it takes place.
Information and event dates can be found in the annual Munich training and qualification programme.
