Inspection of site drainage plans
If you want to make a change to your property drainage system, you can request a plan inspection.
Description
Drainage plans have had to be submitted for approval for the construction and modification of property drainage systems since the first days of Munich's municipal drainage system in the 19th century. As-built plans from all these years are kept in our archives.
Owners and their authorised representatives can inspect the plans by prior appointment.
Plans can be photographed during the appointment. DIN A3 photocopiers are also available. It is also possible to order complete digital copies (PDF) for a fee.
in simple cases, such as for individual detached houses and apartment blocks, you can also request digital copies (PDF) using our online form. You will always receive the latest drainage plan approved by us.
Required documents
The following documents must be brought to the appointment:
- Application for inspection of plans
- Proof of authorisation,which can be the following:
oLand register extract
oPurchase contract
oProperty tax assessment notice or
oDecision of the MSE
- For representation:additionally a power of attorney Our power of attorney template can be used.
In the case of property management, we require the property manager's power of attorney. - Identity document
Questions & Answers
if there is a technical emergency that requires immediate action, such as a burst pipe, you can contact us directly by e-mail or telephone. You can then come by for an appointment without any lead time and copy (DIN A3 flatbed scanner) or photograph plans. Proof of authorisation must also be provided here.
