If you are working on a musical project that particularly involves new technologies, you can apply for a project grant.
Description
Every two years, the City of Munich awards a "Young Art / New Media" project grant with a focus on music, endowed with 18,000 euros.
This grant is intended to support a specific, ambitious musical project that particularly incorporates new media or technologies. Unconventional approaches are given special consideration in the awarding process. Scholarships are not awarded for projects within the framework of a degree programme (especially final theses). Applicants must be resident within the MVV area of Munich.
A jury appointed by the City Council of the City of Munich will draw up the award proposal based on the applications received. The grant is paid out in two parts: the first half of the grant is awarded for research and conception, the second half - after approval of the concept - for the production and realisation of the project.
