Cycling traffic reporting platform

If you have any comments, questions or praise about cycling, you can send them to the city administration via the cycling reporting platform.

Description

From now on, suggestions on the subject of cycling will be accepted via our new service, the cycling reporting platform.

With just a few clicks, interested parties can report tips, suggestions, questions or praise on the subject of cycling to Munich City Council via the new reporting platform.

The reporting platform is our open ear on the subject of cycling - you report, we listen. We take a close look at every single report. As a rule, you will then receive a standard response.

We, the employees at the City of Munich, use your reports to see where you see a particular need for action, where more checks should be carried out or where cleaning should be stepped up. We also use your reports to prioritise areas and, if necessary, adapt our future actions accordingly.

It is important for us that you contact us via the reporting platform. This collects all reports and gives us a broad and important picture of the mood and opinion and a good overall impression.

Please note that the reporting platform is not intended for reporting hazardous situations or concerns that require immediate investigation.

You can view the reports of other citizens in the desktop version of the MVV cycle route planner under the heading "Show on map".

We are currently still beta-testing the reporting platform and would be delighted to have anyone who would like to test our new service with us so that we can further develop the content and technology.

Questions & Answers

What can I report via the reporting platform?
You can use the reporting platform to send us any concerns you have about cycling. You can choose from the three main categories: tip, question and praise. The Note category also has numerous sub-categories. Please select the appropriate sub-category for your request. Your report will then be forwarded directly to the relevant department.

What can I NOT report via the reporting platform?
Please do not use the cycle traffic reporting platform to report emergencies, reports of dangerous situations or situations that require immediate investigation. In urgent emergencies or acute danger, please contact the police (110) or fire brigade (112) directly.

What happens to my report?
Your report will be forwarded to the relevant departments in the background. The reports are used, among other things, to set priorities. This means that there is usually a standard response. However, the reports give us important information about what concerns you most and where you see a great need for action. As soon as we have reviewed your report, you will receive information by e-mail and the status of your report will then be set to "accepted/responded to".

Will the reports be published?
After we have reviewed the report and checked it with regard to data protection, for example, we usually respond to the concern with a standard reply. As soon as you have received the reply, your report will also be visible on the cycle route planner and in the map section on the reporting platform. In rare cases, we reserve the right not to publish reports, for example if they are not relevant for all citizens or the content does not comply with our terms of use.
