If you have any questions about legal guardianship and pension provision, Munich's guardianship associations can advise you locally, free of charge and confidentially.

Anyone can find themselves in a situation where they can no longer make decisions for themselves due to an accident, illness, disability or age-related restrictions.

Contact the Munich care organisations if

  • You want to make provisions for old age, illness and accidents with powers of attorney or advance directives.
  • You have been appointed as an authorised representative by relatives.

The Munich care associations offer consultation hours and information events on the topics of powers of attorney and advance directives.

Questions & Answers

Guardianship associations are one of the pillars of guardianship law. They have various tasks and services that they fulfil or provide for citizens.

The Munich counselling associations

  • are the point of contact for Munich citizens on all aspects of care and guardianship, city-wide and in your district.
  • look for volunteer carers and introduce them to the voluntary work
  • train and advise relatives and other volunteer carers
  • advise citizens who have taken on a (healthcare) power of attorney
  • provide information on precautionary measures through powers of attorney, advance care directives and living wills manage legal guardianships

The Munich care associations can advise you if you want to make provisions for this eventuality. When you set up your personal pension plan, you will receive the necessary information on the topics of precaution through power of attorney, care and living wills.

We are happy to advise and support you personally, offer further training and the opportunity to exchange ideas with other volunteer carers.
