Apply for membership
Anyone wishing to set up a stand for the purpose of recruiting members (including supporting members) requires a special use permit.
Description
Different regulations apply for the Old Town pedestrian zone than for the rest of the city. Please note that you must therefore use different application forms for member advertising stands inside or outside the Old Town pedestrian zone.
Location within the Old Town pedestrian zone:
- Only one stand location on Theatinerstraße (corner of Viscardigasse) is possible.
- The stand may not be larger than six square metres.
- Pavilions are not permitted.
- Permission is granted for a maximum of four hours per day.
Locations in the rest of the city:
- The information stand may not be larger than nine square metres.
- Pavilions are permitted.
- Only non-profit organisations may obtain this permit.
- Membership recruitment may only be carried out by members or employees of the non-profit organisation.
- A maximum of 24 stands are permitted per organisation per year.
- Each stand may be occupied by the same organisation a maximum of five times per month.

- Certificate of non-profit status according to § 52 AO
