If your driving licence for passenger transport has been lost or stolen, a replacement licence can be issued on request.

Prerequisites

  • You are registered with your main residence in Munich.
  • You are the holder of a passenger transport licence and have lost it

Required documents

  • Identity card or passport
  • Driving licence for the general driving licence
  • Declaration of loss or theft report from a German police station
  • If the lost driving licence for passenger transport was not issued by the City of Munich, a copy of the file card from the foreign driving licence office that issued the driving licence is also required.

Have you bought a taxi or hire car company? Then you must commence operations within the period specified in the authorisation notice.

Submit motor vehicle main inspection report

Anyone who operates commercially in occasional transport must submit reports on the annual general inspection of motor vehicles without delay.
